I spent a lot of time on the Packard Bell playing Chip's Challenge and masturbating to pictures of naked Greek art via Encarta when I didn't want to load my floppy disks of porn.

RIP my first piece of shit PC. This is the thing that made me an internets addict and let me explore the interwebs in 2002, before it was overrun by normies and facebook retards. The PSU did not start anymore and it was always the noisiest computer I've ever had, it was also outdated the moment I bought it, because 3 GHZ processors were just around the corner. The CD & DVD drives were broken and unuseable, too.

It's was a 1,4 GHZ Pentium 4 with 512 MB Ram, a Geforce 4 MX (later upgraded to a 4ti) and a 80 GB harddrive. Whoever came up with this 1 cm deep frontal USB slot design decision at the very bottom is hopefully burning in hell.

This last photo shows it before i took it apart, salvaged the parts and threw it in the trash.

A Gateway 2000. Can't say I remember much about it but I still love the loading screen.

The first computer I used was some old shitty Packard Bell running DOS. The first one that was actually my own personal property was a Winbook laptop equipped with the mighty WinME.

Our family was very happy to have a Packard Bell running DOS, and I felt like the luckiest kid in the world when my dad was done with it and I got to use the thing.

Kids these days, who treat their smartphones/tablets/laptops like disposable dollar store junk, boggle my mind.

My first ever was the Tandy (Radio Shack) version of an AT-8088. dont remember what it had under the hood but back in those days it was fuckall. had no programs, used it to write "20 questions" games with BASIC in DOS for my younger siblings. In school we used the Apple IIe which was great for SimAnt and Oregon Trail...
