I found the LOTR films to be far too long and utterly boring/mindless. Plus it's full of plotholes. Of course, I only like TESB of the Star Wars films so maybe I'm just too hard to please. Sexually.

It really annoys me that gandalf was at several battles and sieges, and the only magic he uses is some shitty little beams of light to scare off the nazguls. Not kill them mind, just startle them a little. Shit, even saruman threw a fireball before he fell on that spike.
