Oh well maybe when WW3 begins with the U.S going to war with China over China doing commerce with oil as their currency or whatever then things will change for the better economically. People need to take it up the ass and pay more for their fancy gadgets that are not made in Vagina. It's not like there aren't billionaire Australians who having enough money and not really caring what they spend on might use that money to start a manufacturing business in Australia and spare no expense on setting it up to be self contained environmentally friendly and efficient, Basically if the Government backs stuff like this and it involves pulling fat nerds on welfare kicking and screaming out of their house full of dank and Xbox 360 to work on a production line things will be much better, the consumerism is funding it's own system. There are countries that refused to sell out to wall st stock markets and China, and their business is steady as usual and through thick and thin changes very little, no boom but no bankruptcy, it's all about NOT BEING GREEDY.
World wars are good for cleaning up trash and jump-starting innovation. Of course with everyone and their inbreed cousin with a nuke now, it may get dicey. With half of the UN wanting iRan to pop a nuke and turn the real Jews to glass, it may be inevitable to fight over The Black Blood of the Earth. Maybe if Barry had approved the Keystone pipeline extension from Canada I wouldn't be paying $3.99 for regular unleaded. Whiny Eco-cunts say "if you increase drilling now you won't see an increase of production and lowering of cost for 5-10 years..." Of course that was during the last retarded US president's watch which was how many years ago?
Show all nations with Nuclear arms the film 'On the beach' that should scare them shitless enough NOT to ever consider using nukes. Even if you nuke an enemy country before they get to nuke you, you still get to deal with the nuclear fallout making it's way across to your country and poisoning you all to death. George Bush was 4 years ago. Ron Paul really needs to get the job, if nothing changes that just means the answer to the problem isn't voting for pre-selected candidates, it means the whole system needs to be forced out of office with democratic protest and rebuilt.
I'd vote for a president who who would look you in the eye and say, "Yeah, we're fucked. But guess what, we're going to nationalize those companies that want to ship jobs overseas. Then we're going to do some old FDR shit, if you're unemployed or on welfare we're going to put you to work for the basic necesities of life and train you in a trade to get a better job. Oh, you're fat, and on food stamps / welfare? We're gonna smack that twinkie out of your mouth and put you to work cleaning the trailer park or hood." The bullshit about being energy independant and putting solar panels up and windmills, fine. Nationalize that Solindra shit that took half a billion and put people to work here instead of buying it from China.
Essentially the Government in any case particularly Australia is like a fat welfare bludger on welfare, unwilling to invest any money or effort besides the bare minimum to continue doing what it wants videogames and whatever the fuck the government does. We COULD have had Solar panels standard years ago if there was more money to accelerate the technology to where it is practical like today. The trick is with Solar, is that you need a complex computerized system that turns the DC into AC we could also have had Biofuel cars a decade ago, but no, because it requires a big grunt like taking a big constipated shit. But the thing is, once the pain is over, it's done and it's making the future more secure. Apple for example might be enjoying huge profit margins since they sell their products for like 85% profit using china to make everything, but eventually they will be vulnerable if things keep going where they are going, one day China might be buying and owning companies and businesses that used to be American, European and Australian owned and what will be left?
I find it funny you bring up Apple products. So many people bitch about how expensive they are. At least they are doing okay. Microsoft might do better (or worse, well have to see) after the new Windows comes out. It's nice to see Microsoft actually taking a risk for once and trying to innovate rather than release the same operating system over and over.
