LOLZ, don't forget the Weinstocks. There used to be a gem shop where I used to live owned by a hebrew named Weinstock that I tried selling 5-gallon buckets of fool's gold to and got b& from. The guy's nature (Michael Snyder on crack) made me want to deplete the "weinstock" at the liquor store by stocking up on Thunderbird and Night Train.
Jews are dumb and should be hated. Because they keep bringing up WWII and the Holocaust (of which they were not the exclusive victims) how many years since Hole-o-caust? 1945 was when it ended, so.. that is 67 years ago. they will keep bringing it up another 60 years from now.
This. Why don't we hear the Catholics, Gypsies, Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, mentally ill people or convicted felons (among others) bawing about the holocaust? Because the kikes are powerful and are attention whores. Why aren't the Jews bawing about the Spanish Inquisition?
Powerful? right that's why they fear us finding out what they are up to because they fear the world. Let's not forget the Jews have been on plenty of genocide campaigns themselves.
Buying Chinese made Titanics is stupid because what is the point of buying something that will wear out within a year and need replacing? just cop it and pay premium for a ship that lasts.
You'll notice that the other Australians on this forum seem to be herping and derping at the nerve of a businessman to do business in a business friendly nation like China instead of a nation which is generally hostile to business like Australia. And make no mistake, between the taxes, the regulations, the subsidies, the licenses, the permits, the paperwork, the price controls, the environmentalist agendas, the cartels and the many, many other redundancies, Australia is hostile to businesses. So I'm all for work being sent to China. If it weren't for free trade everything in Australia would be Australian made, thus overpriced and of shit quality. If Australian businesses want us to buy from them then they should serve the consumers, not try to extort money of us. Everybody is a consumer, which renders any "rich vs poor" arguments horrendously stupid and only serves the interests of cartels, whether they call themselves unionists, corporatists or mafiosi.
So Baya you would rather Jobs go oversee's sounds like the opinion of someone who has no interest in ever working a day in their life.
I think he meant Australia doesn't support businesses which causes them to move away. The ones that do stay are shit and should move away.
Naming your boat/vessel/ship/etc. after someone else's is considered bad luck, so naming it after one of the most famous sunken ships in the western world is like shooting yourself in the foot with a shotgun.
On behalf of Canadians everywhere, I apologize for my fair country unleashing that demon spawn onto the world.
Australia needs to be great, it's not shit like America, but it's not at an acceptable standard for a country either, it should be allot better than it is and it was allot better than it is now.
Actually, my point was that the government does everything to choke and otherwise extort the shit out of the economy but otherwise BP's spot on. So yeah, I'd rather all the bad companies die, even if it means people losing jobs which they shouldn't have to begin with since they're inefficient and drawing badly needed resources away from important shit. Were I on unemployment benefits, and only concerned with my own benefit, I wouldn't advocate such a thing as it would mean that I wouldn't have anybody to indirectly leach off of. Australia is largely service based. This is a problem and the only reason Australia hasn't turned into a shithole is because of tourism, foreign government investment (direct/indirect) and WA. God only knows how we've managed so far. I honestly can't think of a single Australian export as everything we make is overpriced and of lousy quality. That might explain why a few fairly major companies have gone belly up recently.
I hope tourism dies 100% so the local government bodies and councils will have no excuse not to do anything, because Tourism is just selling out a country for a gigantic bust.
I doubt there will be many tourists seeing as how the Australian dollar is stronger when compared to the default international reserve, the US dollar. But yeah, it'd be nice if we thought more locally. Australia could be at the forefront of innovation and competition, if we got government off our backs. I ought to make a thread about something like that.
Corporations leave the USA, Australia, & other innovative countries for a few major reasons: A repressive taxation rate: 34% in the US (Unless you're GE and suck Barry off to get 0%), not sure what it is in Australia. Every administration, government has a favorite corporation they write tax loopholes for, it's all about gaming the tax code. But even if they're getting a favorable tax rate there is also... The governmental regulations: Go ahead, try to get an environmental survey for that factory done. You might tear up the natural environment of the endangered albino porch monkey. China has no regulations, they had to idle many of their factories during the Olympics so people could actually see through the polluted haze. And... Labor costs: Even if you don't have labor unions constantly extorting your corporation for their share of 'da loot, it's a lot cheaper to move the company overseas and ship in bulk. The Chinese slaves err child labor err workforce is so underpaid in a currency so artificially boosted that you'd think Human Rights organizations and the US govt would raise a stink. But the corporations even when caught or called on it spread their ultra China gold to quiet the politicians. And of course, they execute anyone who let a camera in or employee talk to a reporter. Most of the modernized countries of the world are consumer / service driven economies now and would prolapse so big they could pass a watermelon if they had to re-start their manufacturing industry. Any politician that says they're going to bring jobs back to their country is smoking crack and hasn't been made to bend over and take it in both ends from their friendly master err Chinese lobbyist. Corporations are greedy, politicians are greedy, people are cheap and want cheap shit, we're all fucked, and China luv you long time...
