It's getting to the point that I wonder how many of these sparkledog/sparklewolf shit comics just plagiarize off of each other. Oh well, at least this person hasn't tried copyright the color red (or yellow-brown in this case).

heh, I've snarked this artist before. I always disliked her work because of the extremely bland character designs that's exactly the same for every wolf, besides all her dogs look like Charlie Barkin.

and fuck, these pannels are horribly crowded and the speech bubbles placement is terrible. how the fuck is this worth a DD?

*Slow claps* But being serious here, I'm tired of hearing about this sameface matter. Sounds too nitpicky to me. That could just be me though. I will question one thing. Why is a random comic page getting a DD? What's so special about that page? It makes little sense to me. Maybe something like "Oh my this comic is just fantastic this comic is just so perfectly darling you should head on over to read it right away!" But a single page?

Nah I'm tired of hearing them as just the only critique. Artist is awful with anatomy and colour and whatnot but the critique only says "Sameface." I just want to hear a little more than that.

Then add it yourself.

Please post when you actually have something worthwhile to talk about.

It's self explanatory. What more is there to say on that. You have a comic where identification of different characters is crucial, yet all you draw is the same 2 faces for every wolf with different colors. Quit deflecting legitimate critique because you dont like the wording.

If you're tired of hearing "sameface," get the artist to stop drawing all their characters with the same fucking face.

I think that's a little more important at this stage than learning how to draw different body types (bodies in general) first, considering even if you did that all the characters would still look the same.

Both are very important, but faces are the most obvious. If you can't draw more than two faces then I'm sorry but you have failed to create "unique" characters. So forgive me if sameface has become an invalid critique, but I'm going to stick with it.

I think I just faceplanted right into a revolving door with that sentence. I was not trying to say sameface wasn't legit, I was trying to find something else that's been going round the critique circuit. I've seen sameface everywhere but is there anything else common?

The only other thing I've heard about is "Escher girls" which is just as fun.

Stretch-face, face off to one side, nostrils dragging up his nose(which is, in itself, too dark,) fat neck, one man eye, and one woman eye.
There's also those horizontal lines and that strange vertical line over to the right.

All in all, pretty good for a tartlet.
