There's some nginx stats. The first one is our backend which serves wiki requests. Although we're down since we got our new domain, it still serves ~10 req/sec, which averages to around ~850,000 requests per day. Our load balancers serve static content + dynamic content, and a lot more static content (approx 75% of all static requests which hit our load balancers) are cached further by CloudFlare. (The pie chart only shows requests on {images,static,forums}.encyclopediadramatica.se from the past 7 days). Furthermore when we moved to the new domain, we increased the TTL of a lot of assets from 4 hours to 30 days, cutting a lot of requests for static content for return visitors and speeding up load times for them as well! We're slowly recovering, but we're still not first place on Google! Create backlinks guys, raise our page rank! We will be back to where we should be soon!
This is better than I expected. I assumed that noone that wasn't familiar with ED's twitter account knew what the hell happened to the site.
I've never thought I'd get turned on by a ghey sysadm sporting a pony avatar with a fucking rainbow coming out of its arse. Turns out, it can happen
I have this site bookmarked, I follow it on Twatter, and dear goodness I liked it on my NON-troll Facebook. Isn't that enough?
should I make another youtube video telling people we've moved? I've noticed people posting the new location in the comments section of the project restoration video
alright, I'm just deciding what style I should do it in. the standard "we are anonymous blah blah blah" doesn't really fit at this point, so maybe something more like the "when I'm bored" videos that everyone likes for some reason
does anyone have the new logo as a vector btw? low resolutions are laaaame (and hard to convert into vectors)
