Ugh, I hate that faggot's art. He tries to peddle his tutorials and how-to books to weeaboos while most of them can shit out better art.
Ugh...I bought one of his books (the shoujo one) when I was in middle school or so. When I got it home and read through it I got annoyed because he didn't draw like anything in the book according to the credits page. Plus I could already draw much better than most of the stuff. the only thing I kept it for years because I had already spent money on it. Just like that kt coope. ugh.
I've seen a couple of Chris Hart books in one of the bookstores once (one of them being "How to draw animals"), and decided to check them out, out of curiosity, to see if they're worth anything. The conclusion? They're terrible. The drawings are sloppy, full of errors and the advice is crap. Chris Hart is a hack who can't draw for the love of fuck, and anyone with an ounce of brain should stay the hell away from his books. And these manga tutorials... My God, they're bad. But I guess weaboos will buy anything, just learn to draw KAWAII DESU shit.
This is the ONLY book of his worth reading. It did give me solid advice when I thought about trying a comic newspaper strip. However, the art doesn't require much, and he admits in it that the STORY IS MORE IMPORTANT than drawing skill. Published back in 1998, maybe when he had discipline back then.
If someone decided to critique all of his deviations very politely and he mass blocks them all that would be a great start. Then we would think up of a futher Lulz Drama extraction plan. I admit I haven't put as much thought into this though yet.Elsewhere on the internet he does act all butthurt to critics. Examples:

I've always felt the art wasn't up even to a decent tab. But when in my teens I had to accept simply because he was a few decades older and his generation (the Boomers) were always right. I saw others claim he is not a professional artist. He graduated from the California Institute Of The Arts but the author description did not say which degree he earned. I doubt any Art one, more probably like film.

It actually reminds me of that shitty Tom Preston "Fresh Epics" promo drawing he made, with that creepy grim reaper guy... And you just gotta love all those butthurt responses he made to that reviewer.

it seems that in the review, Hart scours the internet for negative reviews on his books and jumps into conversations or blogs to defend himself "hurrr my books are award winning"
