Whether a fraction of a community that's a fraction of the total population is allowed to legalise their fantasies really matters, you guys. Really. Ignore your nation going to shit due to economic concerns. It's draconian inheritance and tax laws that effect less than a percent of the population that you should all be concerned about.
They didn't give him a chance to explain himself. They kept interrupting and shouting, so by the time he could finally get a word out, he was seriously pissed off. That would explain his behavior towards the kids asking questions. That's another thing. They were asking questions about moral issues relating to same-sex marriage. They weren't asking questions like: How exactly are you going to handle marriage rights in this country? Are you going to outlaw sodomy if you are elected? Should same-sex couples be permitted to adopt children? Why or why not? Then they should shut up. Really. Being rude isn't going to change his opinion, if that's what you think. You should take time to listen to what he has to say about these issues, then express your opinions. It's not a fucking debate.
The positive part is that gays and us bis will not be exempt from paying a fee to the respective state for a marriage license. Every dollar counts I suppose. I think gay marriage should be left to the states to decide. If some bumfuck retard in the midwest or especially the south wants to prevent the fag from marrying, let them. Gays generally don't live in those filthy places - and for that matter, neither does anyone of any worthwhile value. It won't matter. However, productive states on the coasts(namely the west and northeast and New York etc) should take caution on outlawing gay marriage. Take California's Prop 8 for example. The measure passed and legalized gay marriage was struck down. While it would make sense that the variations of what occupations the gay community takes up would be proportional to what the straights take up, that would be very wrong. I mostly see gay people with highly advanced degrees in the sciences. Quite a few of them work in Southern California's biotech industry(Sorrento Valley). Sorrento directly competes with Massachusetts' biotech industry, and Massachusetts legalized gay marriage. This clear reality caused a migration of skilled, yet gay workers to Massachusetts. Massachusetts siphoned highly skilled labor off of Sorrento; you can imagine how this went with the leadership at Sorrento. This probably cost the California biotech industry billions. But that's what you get California. You deserve to be a state struggling to stay out of a recession. Go fuck yourself.
Gay people get enraged when they just hear a whisper of antigayness. I've always supported love, but they make it really hard to join a side.
Why would you adopt kids out when the government can raise them to be super spies for the state? Imagine hundreds of Agent 47s at the service of the government. Except altruistic so they won't demand salaries or retirement benefits.
