How can you ridicule it? It's not dependent upon reason for justification as the assumption is that what is given to them through prophets and scripture is revealed knowledge of god. Reality is unknowable except through what we percieve or what we are given. The latter is more important to religious people as , obviously, Gods truth must be more reliable. However, there seems to be a flaw in this thinking as noone seems to think about the fact that "gods truth" has to be percieved so perhaps isnt so absolut... *gets hit over head by chaplain* I mean gods truth emmenates from דעת . Belief is the only thing that is constant in this world and belief is, therefore, our only certiainty. We need not know the truth, only trust in god and perhaps glimpse into the glory that is his creation and its purpose. Humans who become self-giving in both action and belief like the Light become able to see it, and for them the benefits of Da'at's light seem "revealed". However, humans who remain selfish cannot see it, and for them its benefits seem "hidden". Therefore, believe in god and eventually youll see why im right (makes sense right?)
