Reports on dA are srs bzns

Recently, I got a notice, informing me that a deviation I had reported had been looked at and taken down. Since I couldn't remember reporting anything during the past few months, I took a closer look at the report.

The times are completely accurate. Even with nearly 70 reports for the same exact thing, it still took them just a week shy of a full year to even look at it. Bravo, deviantART.

If anyone has any similar screenshots, I'd love to see.

I don't have any screenshots, but that's one of the major reasons why I just gave up basically on reporting. I used to be a report freak, but between the mods turning a blind eye to obvious TOS violations ("The grub going up her anus/the fingering masturbation/the significant erections TOTALLY aren't violations!" ) and the "let's take several years to even MAYBE take action" just made me throw my hands up. If the mods don't give a crap what shit goes up in their septic tank of an "art" site, why should I?

I know there's people I've reported a few years ago that still have galleries full of screenshots (not in Scraps); [child] pornography/yaoi shota shit; demotivators, etc., and I haven't heard anything back from them in the slightest.

Recently I reported a dupe of some guy that have been banned in the site twice, and I'm still waiting for the answer despite I gave all the important evidences that proved its ban evasion.

Similarly, once I tried to report rcanheta for shouting death threats on people, but I received a note from one mod saying it was "unimportant", therefore it was brushed off. And the funny thing is, they listened to fagcanheta when he falsely reported someone for spamming and the person ended banned.

This dude was uploading real life child pornography onto DA. Every picture's artist's comments had sayings like "I WANNA FUCK HER" and "YUM YUM YUM", etc.. I unfortunately saw it and the girls on there couldn't have been older than nine or ten.

There was a reporting crusade, and the guy got banned. The thing is, the dumbass mods left his child porn up and never wiped his gallery so it was still sitting up there for the world to see. This got reposted to an LJ snark comm (entry is friends-locked, unfortunately) and there were more reporting sprees, but the mods still kept his child porn up and took their diddly-dallying time in finally erasing it a full day later.

There was another incident where I came across some Brazillian's lolicon picture of a young girl fingering herself (her hands were in her panties and you could clearly see the outline of her fingers in between her vulva as she blushed and drooled), and I reported it and it came back saying "dis isn't a violation herp a derp".

Even the drama regarding that one dude who drew "cherubs"/putti--who are children--(see gallery x__x) and favourited pictures of people's kids, it's like, DA what are you doing.

He hasn't been about in weeks and is old news. Though I AM surprised the account is still standing. Furthermore, I thought only one pic can hold one report at a time. Last time I tried doing so (art theft, but not from me) it said someone else beat me to the punch. Also, real CP? As in photos as opposed to drawings?! Putting the stuff more befitting Not4chan is negligible (albeit annoying) enough to me but I wasn't aware anyone would be that stupid!

Yeah, the only good thing about the cherub drama is that it rid off of that creep, although the images are still up.

Also, still regarding the same guy, I remember seeing the photo of a boy exposing his dick in the cherub creep's faves. So yeah, DA mods are stupid enough to let stuff like that around until it is reported.

Cherub doesn't count, they have the appearance but they are not children, is disgusting I know but is not prohibited.

Judging by his webcam at the moment he may get a kick out of the overreactions. Or laughing his ass off due to the loophole. Not that I care apart from him having not deactivated his account.

I reported a number of traced bases to put them in their correct category. I submitted them months ago and received no response.

His drawings didn't look like cherubs though. Cherubs have wings and many of his pictures didn't :/

Last week I reported a bunch of posers pics depicting stuff like anal sex, sodomy between lesbians with strap-ons, cunnilingus and bondage torture rape.

And all of those only one was notified and removed.

Well cherubs have tiny wings so is natural you can only see the if you watch it back or profile pose.

I think another troll had his report resolved in five minutes..I'll have to find the screen shot of it.
