First thing I noticed is her arms are really short, it'll be even more apparent when she's colored. Elbows will align with the bottom of the rib cage so you can use that as a starting point of making long enough arms. Even just looking at medical illustrations of anatomy helped me study proportions.

The best thing you can do to learn figure anatomy is try and draw some reference skeletons. Then draw skinned people (i.e. only all the muscles showing). After that it is merely a matter of adding to the basics.

Don't know what is up with this one's skull. Must be half pug dog.

Also use stock pics of nude/barely clothed people and draw the Skeleton onto it figuring out where the bones go etc

Edited face and lazily attempted to make arms longer by bending them back.

I like the doodle better. It's looser and less...try-hard-y.

The doodle is loads better than whatever that other thing is supposed to be. Weird neck is weird.

And there are pretty colors!

Why am I only ever good at art when I don't care about how the piece will be received?

That's why.

A while back I went through a period where I doodled nothing but feathered dinosaurs; this is one of the two that survived transfer to a new computer. The scan made it wayyyy brighter than it is normally, but I lost the original copy so this is all I've got.

The key problem with both these fucked drawings is that the subjects have painfully flat chests.

Try drawing bigger breasts.

Or at least a variety of breasts.

Because the only good art, is art the artist makes for themselves.

So that MMD thing weebs use, I decided to use it again and dick around with some shaders. I eventually ended up painting on the pic tho.
