What can I do to make the line work better? I use micron pens of different point sizes. I use .05 overall but I also use .03 and .01 for details on the clothes. Then I use either a Sharpie or a Copic for the black.

As for the clothes, are they too poofy?

Anyway, she's all edges and her clothes are mostly all curves, I can't explain it well.

Unless all the drawings are on a really small scale it looks like the lines are often too thick and dark where it doesn't fit. This was where I couldn't put my finger on what really bothered me.

the only reason I'm trying so hard to put this into words how my eyeballs are rejecting it is cause you're crying out for it, you need to find someone more interested in your progress.

So smooth lines should apply to the skin and anything suggesting something soft and sharp hard lines should apply to rough edgy things. Did i get that right?

I think someone pointed out me trying to do a comic book style shading. In this piece in particular, I wanted to draw something with intense black shades and a bit more realistic proportions. I purposely gave her a smug look to give her a sort of evil and crazy vibe.

The spirit in the back is kinda like a Stand. I gave him a darker appearance to make him come across as just as evil and intimidating without really having to say much.

On another note, when you looked at the picture, did your eyes guide from the right side to the left?

I see. I probably should've implemented a line of action to compliment how it goes from light to dark via right to left, among other things. As for referencing her clothes, I referred to the vest worn by SNK character Ralf Jones and the ninja vest from the Naruto series. I tried putting pics here, but my computer and phone is playing hell with me.

She has mega-boobs but no cleavage.
Smug =/= enlarging one eye to cartoony proportions and making it stare. She looks more psychotic than anything else, like "i'm gonna rip your head off and fuck the remnants of your spine." I often find that narrowing both eyes so that the character is looking down at you makes them look fairly smug, while also avoiding quirking the eyebrow. Especially if their smile doesn't reach their eyes, because then they look cold and humorless. More like, "you're so fucking stupid and I'm about to make you regret your existence."

Her arms are pretty skinny compared to the rest of her body.
The way you've drawn her pants, it's like her calves are as thick as her thighs.
If you're gonna have huge feet, ya gotta have huge hands too, and not those normal ones. It creates balance in a design.
The shading kind of makes me think it's nighttime, and idk if that's what you were going for or what.

Also I think you need to work on your compositions Inkbro, a lot of your stuff is centered with no plays on like unbalanced lighting or stance.

Also, to head off some questions if you recognize the black-haired character: Yes, I changed her face. I decided she ought to look more her age and more like her parents.
Yes, she got a haircut, but that's actually a canonical part of her story.
What's wrong with the lower half of her face and neck is that she's slowly turning to stone.
