It's pretty common knowledge, if you have been paying attention to Japan in the last decade or so. I suppose most weaboos don't.
Most wouldn't care, since they have no investment in the country that produces their favorite media in any way. They only draw stuff based on or from it. There is no real interest in the actual country of Japan, the language, or real culture. Japanese people may be ethnically similar to Koreans, given that the Korean aristocracy came to Japan and became the ruling dynasty. This is something the Japanese do a great deal to hide, mind you. They don't like the Koreans much and the Koreans don't like them either. You won't learn anything I mentioned from animu, it's all from archeological records.
Yet their organs aren't developed yet and the sheer stress, pain, and weight would leave them with lifelong problems or dead so its a 1:1 birth/death ratio
I've heard about it mainly because of where I hang out, which is in places that are almost Western counterparts to otaku dens like 2chan. The real country of Japan is more alive than the one you see in anime and manga, which is a pale reflection of it. It's a very rich culture too, with aspects of Chinese and Korean cultures as well as the rest of the world. It's a reflection of how the world has become a melting pot AND how Japan has preserved it's own.
Fukushima killed japan, If you look at the effected area, there is not much living space left on that island. Sorry to say this, but some kind of population control is required when most of the country is inhabitable, that or mass immigration. I can't wait till the radiation comes to california and gives everybody cancer and fucks up their thyroids, that will be some old school payback
I have a theory that one of the reasons for people in Japan to become so withdrawn has to do with the drastic increase in pressure to succeed and become a success, get married, etc. Since it's a different environment and the attitudes and ideas for having a family and working a stressful job to become a symbol of you know, whatever. Family honor, etc, people probably are starting to withdraw much earlier since being exposed from it in high school. Let's not also forget Japan has one of the highest suicide rates in the world too, and that doesn't help either. Something has to be done within the social system to address this, not you know going out and trying to tell people it's their 'duty' to pro-create, they'll just point and laugh and withdraw even more. So saying "anime" and "games" isn't really the problem much like saying first person shooters and violent video games are responsible for mass shootings around the United States.
