ok. i read this piece of shit. it's not the worse furry comic iv read. hell,i even almost thought it might be good for the first few pages. for a short while it actually seemed like a serious attempt to write a story. but soon it descends to the usual author wish fulfillment sex fantasy. it always pisses me of the way these people treat homosexuals,a group with an actual political agenda,as sex toys. it's the same way a porno movie can segway any premise into sex,no matter how inappropriate. (sexy Nazi prison guard seduces Jewish girl,a congressional hearing about affirmative action devolves into massive interracial orgy atc.) this could have seriously discussed homosexuality and the difficulties that might come along with it. instead,everyone just magically turns gay as soon as someone grabs their ass. but worse then that is that the story has literally nothing to offer it's readers. not even fap fodder. the story is non exsistent.charectars only have personalities needed to lead to conflict that leads to more sexual encounters.and even those never pay out because no one ever actually fucks,not on camera at least. the art amazes me... it's the first comic iv ever seen where the art actually gets worse ! it's starts of well drawn,and then the artist beings to suffer from some king of brain atrophy,and slowly forgets anatomy,proper coloring,and finally,coloring at all. also,kudos on him drawing the dog peoples dicks as pink things that pop out... so glad i saw that. all and all... this comic is a waste of cyber space. I AM A WEBCOMIC EXPERT.
So.... If my "furry" Graphic novel had story with Michael Pillar quality character based writing, and good illustrations, and nothing to do with sex being onscreen or described, you would like it?
if it was then it would not be "furry" by my definition. it would just be a regular good story whose cast is anthropomorphic animals. what makes it "furry" is the sexual tone. if you would make the same story with a sexual subtext that is not gross (unlike most furry comics.) i would like it. i wouldn't get off to it but i would acknowledge it's quality.
That's kinda how i feel about it too. I would love to make a great novel involving anthropomorphized animals that is quality to people who do not like or even plain out hate furries, like you, and instead of using it as a means to spread and soften people up to the furry agenda, as they might assume i would do, it would be much more satisfying if people who did good anthro movies or graphic novels just spat in the face of furfaggotry and publicly disown it revile it and express maximum hatred of it. And point out that animal characters being somehow automatically supportivr of furry is specious and retarded reasoning.
just finished reading it. and yes,definitely. there are alot of comics that revolve around shock. but 99% make one of two mistakes. it's either not funny (punchline is rape,ha ha.) or not shocking. (audience has long since been desensitized to gross out humor.) SL is one of the only comics of it kind iv seen to avoid these traps. the gross parts are genuinely laugh inducing to to their level of inappropriateness. but as you read on,you realize that this person could write strips just as funny about any other topic if he chose to. WIN Comic.
REVIEW ! "ozzy&millie",D.C Simpson and her assorted works. i revived this thread because S4 was fagging up the reputation of one of the best webcomics ever. ozzy and millie. this one is a jem in the putrid cesspool that is the internet. what stand out about it is the fact it looks completely professional. if i was told that this was published in some newspaper,without having prior knowledge of the contrary,i would not doubt it for a second. the art is simple but well polished,and the humor is charming and family friendly. that was the best thing Simpson ever made... and it is the only thing that is any good. from then on it was a downward spiral of shitty comic after shitty comic. sex change. near the end of it's run,the author of O&M had a sex change. and with his chod,so did his talent go in the trash heap. girl. "girl" is dana award winning work. but really,it's just old ozzy and millie jokes re-drawn with dana as the protagonist. i drew this. then our dear simpson decided to get political. and her total lack of understanding of politics would not stop her. it's ignorant liberal preaching. the only time in the entire comic that liberals are ever criticized is in one strip where Simpson's self insert scolds a fellow liberal srawman for not being as big a douchbag as him/her(?). the comic ends with her threatening obama that if he fucks up,her and her two other mary sue author surrogates,would be back to deal with him like the have with those damn republicans. (ooooh ! so scared !) although... the comic still hasn't updated despite Black Jesus's less then spectacular term in office.... odd... could D.C Simpson be guilty of (GASP !) double standards ?! blue dog whore. i can not be bothered to check and see how to correctly spell the title of this shit. when i started reading it i though it was a metaphor for race and is terribly insulting. but then i found out about the sex change thing and understood it's actually an allegory for transsexualism and is BOTH incredibly stupid AND terribly insulting. what you need to know is this: *despite being her latest comic its the worse drawn one. *trannys are compared to dog. (btw,that's the side she is supposed to be advocating.) *the main character is an insufferable,opinionated bitch (literally) who the audience is supposed to root for. *and at one point she kisses an 8 y/o boy (pedophilic bestiality as an allegory for transvestites... nice choice) and gets her pussy sown shut. hindsight ozzy and millie. after all the shit that happens you can't help but look back at this masterpiece,and while considering its creators craziness,start to see some seemingly innocent things in a different perspective. like millie constantly stripping naked in front of ozzy (despite them both being in grade school.) and the whole afire having a slight pedo/furry feel to it. point is. read the first comic. nothing else.
