I watched Los Olvidados by Luis Bunuel. Beefheart was right when he told me that Bunuel's best movies were made during his Realism period. This is one of the most gut-wrenching films I've seen him though.
Really? I can't stand Willis when he start willising at full force, it's utterly ridiculous to me. SWAG! + duck face = pls die
It's a poor workman who blames his tools Willis I either like or hate. I like him in Bandits (although BBT & Cate were way better). He's always himself & can't act for shit, but in this film where a deadpan character played off nicely with BBT's hypochondriac manic character, I reckon he was perfect. Have you watched it? You never know, you might be surprised. You also might hate it and resent wasting 90 mins of ur life.
I did, I did...BBT is ok as usual, and Kate is a hotie, but the overall sillines and above all Bruce's tiresome I'm the shit smirk ruined it for me
You bash the man who brought us Die Hard 1 2 and 3 (forget 4), and the 5th element, but fucking Harry Potter is OK? I hope a horde of Basques overrun your village and steal your pet goat. Fucking Eurotrash. No wonder your continent is in the shit. I feel sick and violated.
It's like with Eddy Murphy, he did funny movies until everybody began to say to him how funny he was. 48 Hrs, Trading Places, even Beverly Hills Cop were nice...then he got massive USI With Bruce is a bit the same, Die Hard 1 is pretty funny, Death Becomes Her, Twelve Monkeys, etc are good movies, but later he fell in love with himself too much...The Fifth Element is an exception, his auto-parody works fine cause the kitschness of the flick suits very well ole Bruce's over-the-topness Also, Baya stole my goat long ago I don't want to know for what, my suspicions are already bad enough, pls let's avoid the topic My work here is done
I just saw Skyfall, it was pretty good. It did one plot point a bit too much, though it's worth seeing.
