Maybe I just wasn't in the mood, but it seemed aggressively bad. From the very beginning it starts pushing hippie love/peace bullshit, and there were too many instances of actors looking strait at the camera so they could deliver stupid lines that are supposed to say something profound like "guns are bad" or "take responsibility." It was shit, and I could not finish watching it.
wow, looks bad...but in fact, I only like KS first two movies...with Jay and silent Bob... he already lost me, what a crap
Melancholia, proving once again that men will sit through the most pointless, boring crap for a chance to see tits.
Saw Amazing Spider-Man today. It was actually fun, even when I was expecting the movie would be average at best. Among certain things, I liked how they portrayed Gwen Stacy in this version, and I liked how they didn't try to cram everything from Spider-Man's universe in a single origin movie unike the 2002 version - despite we lost the presence of JJJ because of this. Gotta agree with Mr. Gask that the Lizard's make-up was fucking terrible though. Not as bad as the gay parade that was the Green Goblin costume in the other movie, but Jesus his face was silly.
English film adaptation of a Japanese book. Little boy Jon idolizes the sailor his mother is with and, using a hole in the wall, he spies on them when they're in bed. He's in a club that rejects the adult world as "illusory, hypocritical and sentimental" and is led by the most twisted of the bunch. The best dialogue comes from the leader berating his underlings. Accusing them of being mere children, they set out to prove themselves by drugging a cat and opening him up to reveal the core of life. The leader persistently taunts Jon about his precious hero being only human seeing how he spends more time ashore now. The sailor eventually quits in order to marry mom, and this causes Jon to further lose his shit, leading up to the ending. SPOILER:The cat scene was foreshadowing. I recommend this movie; quite good, will watch again.
Fright Night the 2011 re-make It was actually good, especially if you consider that most of the recent horror films are that shittystatic. It has an okay plot and most of the actors are likeable, but I wish they hadn't turned Peter Vincent in a queerish Las Vegas superstar. Seeing Colin Farell as Jerry just made me miss Chris Sarandon even more.
Maybe I'll try...but being a spanish flick, and never having heard of it means that it never was very talked about... This one is interesting: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1512685/ Some powerful scenes there...pity the script doesn't make fucking sense, lol
The Vanishing A Dutch thriller about a guy who gets in an obsessive search to find his wife that mysteriously disappeared while they were in a road trip. It is actually a fascinating film. And I also watched Suspiria for the second time, this time in Italian dub. God it makes such a difference in the quality of the movie.
Double decker: and And you know what? The Amazing Spiderman was better than The Dark Knight Rises. Sure, DKR had a much better production quality but it was clunky and just didn't do an effective job telling the story. Spiderman, meanwhile, was fun.
