1. I only complain about people getting more funding than what they put out (if they even put out anything) is worth. You're projecting your inability to comprehend that not everyone is greedy like you and can actually have other reasons for not liking someone making a fuckton of money besides jealously.

2. I was only wondering why Joseco hasn't done it yet since he's likely to get some good dosh off of it. The only thing I can think of is because he seems to be sick of drawing ponies (he hasn't done a pony picture on deviantart since december, and infrequently updates his Ask Gamer Luna blog), and he knows deep down that the only reason he has such a massive fanbase is because of his pony art, and virtually nobody gives a fuck about anything else he does (like his Hunters comic).

26 followers and only one fav in his announcement? That's pretty sad, but not as sad as Dobson, who has over a thousand followers and he can only reach three favs at most in his tweets.

What's even sadder is that the dude has over 51,000 watchers on deviantart, and it seems that barely any of them, if the twitter is any indication, give the slightest fuck about his comic. Of course you have to factor in people who don't have twitters/aren't aware the comic has a twitter/don't see the point in following the twitter account, but still.

Should've made it a pony comic, than far more people would ignore it's horrendous writing/art flaws because ponies.

Eh I'm not even a commie anymore. Not a socialist, not a capitalist. I stand by my beliefs that there should be some sort of safety net in place to make sure as many people as possible don't wind up homeless, unable to feed themselves, or pay for medical bills, but somehow make sure they still work. Still not sure how that would work. But peeps should still be able to get rich, I've accepted the fact that it's just good for incentivizing certain people to do things for society they otherwise wouldn't.

Taking away all the rich peoples wealth and re-distributing it is just dumb. However, I believe wealth caps are needed to prevent a tiny minority from owning too much of their society's wealth. Not sure how high that cap should be, tho.

So basically I believe an entirely new system is needed, like socio-capitalism. Anyway that's all I'm gonna say on that.

His pony jokes are beyond terrible, somewhat because this kind of shit could be done with characters from any franchise screaming at some kid over a FPS game.

But no matter which characters he uses, this is still stupid and unfunny, because the punchline would still be "it funni because she dun kno how to pley!"

The latest of Salamanstra just hurt my brain. And we see the main heroes have no regards for others and the escape pod conviniently only have two seats. That elevator buttons triggered my brain pain.

This world has such a weak setting. A stronger setting might've done something to save the comic, just so there's something interesting to appreciate. But no. The characters might as well be interacting with empty space. Joseco could save himself a lot of trouble by just not drawing any backgrounds. It'd make about as much sense and be as involving as any of the other backgrounds he's drawn so far.

so are we to assume there are no guns? How has no one shot anyone else over the escape pods then? The ship has guns, why aren't there rifles?
Why would a ship have such small escape pods unless it was a personal transport? I know it's outrageous to assume there are enough escape pods/lifeboats for everyone, but you can't stuff as many people in as possible? Some of them might survive, you'd show your "heroes" as just that, and you can show off some dead bodies if the landing goes awry. They're as shitty as the people they're taking advantage of.

How many pages have we spent of them just being on this shit-tier ship?

So uh... they simply left the rest of the team to die? They didn't even bother to at least reach their hand out to save anyone else?

And of course the wolf ears girl would only care about the seemingly love interest of hers in the story. The dragon guy and all of the team that fell right in front of her while she just stood there watching them die? Yeah, fuck them, they can all go die, who cares about minor veteran characters? But Bart Simpson? Omg he's all she needs to go on!

Looking at the page of the first chapter, I can at least say that the characters were a bit more detailed in there. Somehow the art style got even worse and inconsistent, and the guy managed to downgrade it faster than Andrew Dobson could.

So yeah. Guns.

So even though we're spending so much time in these places over nothing, I feel like we've been dropped into a world that hasn't even been completely built up.
The first chapter should have been Bart taking Scrappy Doo to the hunters guild or whatever the fuck, explain about the monsters, why they hunt them, where they live, who/what hunters are, anything else that might have been important such as leaders, enemies, other characters. The prologue should have already set up monsters, but all we got was a shit-tier monolith with no bearing on the current story other than muh sister is ded.
Maybe have that masked asshole follow them on a ship on their way to the guild or something and try to kill them while they're mid flight, not some faceless tentacle monster.
When they get where they're going they could see some hunters dealing with a big monster like it was an every day chore, not some incompetent assholes.

Damnit I need to go back to writing my own shit.

What bothers me the most is that Joseco basically fucking killed all of the guild just for the sake of making the wolf girl seeing like an important part of the story. Like, wow, look at how fucking brave she is, she took THE LAST escape pod and let everyone else to die, that way she'll be FORCED to be the last hope against... uh... monsters, I guess.

You'd think any of the other hunters would've been much more familiar with the base than this piece of shit anime protagonist, but nooo, they are too busy cowering for their lives. Makes you wonder how they died only when the wolf anime girl got in, and not long before that.
