Yeah, it's bad, but it's bad in a boring way. Though this spelling their own title wrong constantly thing is a pretty hilarious level of incompetence.

Aaannddd there you go... air battle. If you put a damn array of turrets on an airship there going to be air battle.
And really really boring lazy cover. I thought it was hair instead of claws.

The "battle" will probably be really short with a long build up to it.
This comic is so bad, it's unsalvageable at this point. Chapters 1 & 2 should have been condensed within a chapter. Plus, why is there a chapter 0 this early into the series, or even at all?! You don't even learn anything and characters that the main characters mourn are barely there. Bull and Wolf die hilariously anti-climatic and overdramatic deaths. JJ is only interested in building the environment rather than telling a story. However, he is lacking subsistence in his environment. There are different sets of armor/uniforms people have. Why and what are they? Are they the armor/uniforms of multiple schools/guilds? And what's so special about the Swords of Ariel and what are they exactly? If they're not an army, then where's the army? What are "Hunters" and what do they do? What is the time period is this taking place and why is it a combination of future/modern/medieval tech? The technology clashes with each other so bad.
These are just a few questions/flaws I thought of in my head. This is just a trainwreck of a comic.

If he wanted to portray an air battle on the cover he could've at least made it look more exciting than this bland shit

Would've been better if the "peregrine" was much more smaller craft with very few turrets, or even better relying on gunner / mages on board for defense.

Seriously though, a brown ginger, that's just gross looking.

Certain shades of grey can hint at certain colors, but for the most part I think its normal for people to end up assigning their own colors to characters in black and white comics. Being an animufag I've had that happen a few times where I finally see color artwork of a character in a mango I've been reading and it clashes with the colors I had subconsciously assigned.

Still, even with its shitty values this comic would be ten times worse in color. What awful goddamn choices. Even though I knew Eyes Wide there had silver hair in their color shit I still pictured her like this:



But that may be because I keep reading her as a foxgirl. Because her fucking ears, tail and feet all look more like a fox's.

As for Hunter Bro I thought he straight up had white/almost white hair like many dark-skinned animu characters.





Well okay so that's one cliche he avoided, but with his hair left white you'd think of nearly any other color before fuckin' RED.
