This comic reminds me of what happens to a project that has little to no pre-planning. The whole thing seems forced and winged. The lack of characterization, build up, and world lore in some parts show that there may have hardly been any thought put into it at all.

No thought. No pre-planning, just rushing into the thing headlong and fullforce which can only create a half baked experience. When making a comic, you have to leave as little to chance as possible to get the effect you want. Otherwise, the project will worm it's way out from under you and give the readers all sorts of mixed signals and inconsistencies.
