While it is impossible to avoid such things, you can do your best to hide in your little corner of deviantart and hope all the disgust stays in it's own corner. Once in a hundred years, you'll find a good piece of art on the front page or Daily Deviations. Actually, your best bet is probably to rummage through ConceptArt.org and find an artist you like there. Many of them have deviantart accounts as well. Also, stalk your friend's favorites. They'll have good stuff if they're not faggots.

basically, whenever one of them talks to you just ignore them, don't tell them you don't like furries or weaboos unless you absolutely have to, since doing so will likely cause them to baw and then call all their friends to spam you with fail.

if you're going to watch someone, check their gallery first, if you see furry or weaboo stuff in there, then steer clear.

also, sometimes someone will initially appear normal, but then turn into a furry or weaboo, at this point you'll just have to unwatch them, since there is no cure for either condition which can be administered remotely

if you wish to avoid drama, then I suggest you avoid being harsh with anyone, always be polite with people unless you know them really well. this is for your own protection, as dA's retards can be set off by the drop of a hat, or even by nothing at all.
