Like, you have to be in a good frame of mind before using or there is a greater chance of freaking out.

if it is chemically very pure and actual mdma there should be little to no chance of a freak out regardless of state of mind
therapists used to use it to calm and open up patients after all

When 2012 End of the World was a big deal, loads of people I talked to expressed an earnest fear of dying in some planet-wide holocaust. But, as I told them, then -- and still believe, now -- the entire human population, all dying at once, would actually be the best fate- as, for me, the idea of slowly withering away in my death bed, while the sun still shines and people I know have the freedom to stand in it, get drunk, party, and screw, etc -- THAT'S THE WORST. Dying along side everybody, at once, is the greatest of all great equalizers. And so, though 2012 has passed, and the year 2000 didn't pepper us with falling planes from the sky (2001 was a commendable attempt, tho)... I still hold out hope for the second-coming of some vengeful god. Or, at the very least, total nuclear war.
