I think humon has a big, big problem with properly portraying the distinction between a consensual bdsm relationship and an abusive situation. Every time she thinks she's writing a scene explaining something as consensual, she does so in a way that screams "non-con" and "abuse" - might be because it's usually from the perspective of the abuser and that way, it's unreliable. Or maybe she just doesn't get that there is a distinction.

Without reading the wall of text I can honestly say that it is another case of "Go fuck yourself, Humon."

uh oh. The whole comment on the OBVIOUS self-insert character made me think a bit. I remember I encountered a group of raep yaoi fangirls at school. They drooled over the drawings they drew of "hot bishies" getting beat up and raaped (just like Humon's faggotry). one day I asked them what's with all this faggotry and they answered that they imagined all these guys getting abused so they can pitty them in their fantasies and care for them.

Humon's obvious self-insert also resembles this situation. The character (that looks EXACTLY how Humon draws herself) all into "defending" the guy that is getting abused by the dominitrix.

I think that this is a woman who hasn't had a lot of control in her life. She's the 'dominatrix', the one in control. It's all fantasy for her, and she's starting to show too much. She's clearly sexually oppressed/frustrated. She's said that she's had a girlfriend when she thought she was gay, but who know's if that's even true or not. Most normal people can find their 'releases' in one form or another; her comics are hers.
