Both were awarded Daily Deviation awards today. It'd be nice if good artwork like this were to be featured more prominently, as opposed to the complete shite that you'd expect to find on the front page.
My only complaint is that the logs at the bottom left blend with the dirt path too much, it's pretty good otherwise.
I'm a big fan of Phobs work. His original work is so expressive and there's always a story behind it, usually dealing with history. I like that. His fan art is good too. I dig Loish for her playful dynamic style. I fell in love with the way she digitally painted. And aside from that, I love the eyes and noses that she draws. I'm a big fan of semi realism ahaha. JDarnell draws a lot of sweet lolita's, but either way her use of anatomy and the way she draws facial structures is just really soft and inviting. I like the traditional sketch turned into a digital painting method too, gives a vintage kind of feel. Ravenskar for her digital painting and facial anatomy. Her art kind of reminds me of Loish's. And lastly, Ippus. She's a really sweet person irl. and I like artist who aren't all cocky and all pretensions. I love the way she draws hair, and everything else. Although its more animuu, I really like how she draws/colors eyes. They're really deep and vivid, and I am a bit of a weeb so I dont mind.
