So E3 has started and the Microsoft press conference sucked even more than usual. EA is doing theirs in a little under two hours. Stream can be found here. If anyone wants to make fun of all the shitty conferences, just join #ed on irc.wtfux.org.
All E3 conferences will suck because everyone always expects more than there ever will be. That new IP "Ascend" or whatever that Microsoft showed looked truly awful though.
E3 is great and all to see what kind of new installments/games/features/ect there are for the future. But when iJustine is involved then I feel like there is no hope for the future.
Does anyone have seen the traile of the new Tomb Raider game? I heard they found a bigger shovel to the franchise so its hole can go deeper.
According from the commentaries I read, she spent a big bunch of the new game's trailer being a punchbag. In a different subject, Dead Space 3 and All of Us look promising. And I maybe try the new Castlevania.
Microsoft press conference was always shit ever since the Kinect made it's debut from the past E3s. The only good thing was Halo 4 gameplay and that's it, I was bored after that.
Ubisoft=Best Nintendo=Wii U was disappointing and terrible as expected. Sony=Spent too much time on their Spellbook crap, but the stuff coming to PS3 and Vita looks promising. Microsoft=Didn't even bother watching
Dead Space 3 looks really promising, but I'm a bit disappointed that they keep trending away from horror and more towards generic action game with each new release.
And sadly Dead Space 3 killed every single bit of horror aspect within Dead Space. The point of Dead Space was surviving in the horrible depths of space, EA just killed that. They even took out the necromorphs :\
Well I'm not sure if that huge crawling thing was a necromorph(It was obviously not based off of any human lifeform), but it seems Dead Space 3 will have alot of fights with other humans(1:22) and necromorphs are probably going to become an occasional thing. Kind of like what Lost Planet 2 did.
