So there this is site that brought an interesting idea lately. The challenge is you create one character design every day in the month of november, and post them if you like. I'm doing this but since I can't use papers and pencils due of my scannber being in a wreck, I'm stuck at MSPaint hell for the moment. Anyway, I thought some of you guys would be interested to do this. Here is the aforementioned site by the way: http://www.30characters.com/
I'll join in on these shenanigans. I actually did one yesterday, but I'll probably polish it a bit more before posting. And I think November is national 'Too lazy to NaNoWriMo' month for those not participating in that.
do it like DBZ 1.Stock sameface characters 2. different number of spikes IN HAIR for each character 3. make 30 of them 4. ???? 5. PROFIT!! hahaha, nobody actually finishes that shit There are other ways you can do to beat the cold, other that shitting up dA's servers with futile trials
inb4 dA faggots use Anime face maker/ gaia avi maker / faceyour manga / traced base shit 30 characters!
Well some of the NaNo novel rough drafts are then cleaned up in Dec. if the author wants to and a few have been published because of it. The one I know off-hand was 'Water for Elephants' about some circus whatever and it became a movie too. So yeah, you can become famous if you work hard and play your cards right, but I think most of the NaNo kids, like DA kids, think it will happen magically.
3 hours late on day 3, but I finished it. :V Excuse the horrible anatomy, I rushed to get the details ironed out. She's part of a personal project; general of an army.
Looks good man. It's got a nice silhouette. The light lilac might be a bit too feminine for an army general, even for a female. Then again, I'm not sure what the color scheme is for the nation/army/whatever. But I think if it were even just duller, more grey or something, it would speak more as general instead of princess in armor. It's a good piece to take to the next step though. I'd like to see the design polished.
I was thinking so, but I was going off an older design I had done a few months ago. I left the colors as is for the value contrast they gave me, but I'll play around with it a bit more. After the 30 day challenge, I'll go back and render over some of the designs I liked. Thanks btw!
