Kinda surprised no one made a topic about the recent bullshit going on with this 7 year old group. Not that it wasn't shitty enough before, I mean it's Postsecret on dA. But recently they decided to get shittier. tl;dr thanks to one single poll no one gave a shit about, the staff of the account decided it would be a good idea to throw out any and all judgement on if something should be posted because it actually has any effort at all in it or not. Combined with dA's current way of bringing shit to the front page, even more incompetent "staff" than dA themselves, and DAS' increased posting volume that happened at the same time you end up with a grand combination of shit. Fun things include plain copypaste of a quote onto a word doc, reposts of the same thing everywhere, butthurt journals about "haters" everywhere in response to the very much increased volume of posts telling them off, and hiding anything that even resembles an opinion outside of praising DAS.
What bothers me the most about them is how repetitive they are. They're all the same emo, 'nobody knows how *insert emotion here* they are' with random ugly text at different sizes that if you really wanted to read it you'd have to click on it.

Not only that, the apparently new staff of DAS (apparently there are 10, yes 10 of them) are so incompetent that they literally end up posting the exact same piece of shit twice in a row more than once. Part of me wants to know just how much of that they actually sold over time, I'm honestly surprised that they have one as I've seen screencaps that basically show the group also knows next to nothing about dA itself anymore as well. I agree that DAAS doesn't pick the best examples of "good" art ever on the site at all, but they're still putting the point out for better or worse. DAS has been in continuous contact with dA staff everyone! Also aside from the asspain apparently two of the ideas on the journal were partly from a blocked watcher's rant. That's real nice of them. Oh, and... supposedly they're going to judge "artistic" again. Whatever that's going to mean, may be hilarious.
They probably just added the rule in because they want to sound fancy and make their rule list just a bit longer because, you know, all the professionals have lots of rules.

They had something like this for the InvaderZim fandom. But because most of the fandom, at the time, was made up of dramallama circle-jerk elitists, only secrets with drama got any views and it was the Dramallama circle-jerk elitists who took it upon themselves to exert their holy opinion and beat down those who dare oppose after they all skyped about what a faggot that person was. I don't imagine DASecrets is any different. Those groups are just places for people to baw about their stupid, shallow 'problems' and for the elitists to come and wave their e-peens around.
