It's been added; I supposed anything better is to make it more flamboyant by making the letters flash and post gifs of dancing men.
Doesn't cover the entire page on larger monitors. If you're going to vandalize an article at least do it right.
Fuckin' search me, it's been there for a few years now I think. I just never bothered to say anything about it.
Large, distracting, offensive to the eyes, blocks the whole goddamned page. Mission accomplished I guess.
I made the image 2000x1100; if I need to in the future, I'll turn it into a fucking square with a 2000x2000 resolution.

who said they were mine? but since you mentioned it, where's *your* edits to his article? and your pic for the yearbook thread? you scurred of a lolsuit?
Depends, crap edits usually just get undone by another user or one of the mods. If a mod has undone the edit then don't just undo their undo; talk to them first about why it was undone if you think it should be put back. (pro tip, familiarize yourself with this list) If you just start wantonly vandalizing articles that's a swift, and immediate, ban. The best rule of thumb to avoid getting a ban, however, is to simply lurk moar.
