TV producer and philanthropist Norman Lear was talking with songwriter Keith Carradine one night and made this shit-fest. Based off of what the website says about the piece (and the subsequent movement): Sounds dandy, right? I mean, sure, great. But it's christian. Get it...born again? Just that whole fact pisses me off. Plus, there’s something creepily religious about the phrase “Born Again American” that appears to emphasize Barack Obama as their secular Messiah. There’s nothing at all American about falling into cults of personality. Maybe if they’d taken a little more pride in their American heritage, they’d already know that. Fittingly, the acronym for this new organization is BAA — perfect for the sheeple that join it.

After 1865, whitey wanted to send all the blacks back to Africa, esp. the American created colony of Liberia, more to prevent them from the inevitable crime rate rise they'd cause rather than the humanity of returning them back to their Eden but was still part of the reasons too.
