I'm in the International Baccalaureate Program. My only choices at my school were Spanish, or French, and I had no background in French.
I'm switching to the Collegiate program at my local college, and I'll probably take Greek or Latin.

I checked out sign language, it is worth learning.
actually probably easier than morse code, it has an alphabet and all you have to do is memorize and get reflexive with making the signs.
